An endless number of stories that pour into the funnel and come out in our world, barely changed.” It’s just that it left me not even as much bored as quite indifferent, and that’s a cardinal sin for a book. And it’s not because this book is terrible - although King wrote a few real stinkers throughout his long prolific career, this isn’t quite one of them. After Stephen's grandparents passed away, Mrs. Other family members provided a small house in Durham and financial support. Her parents, Guy and Nellie Pillsbury, had become incapacitated with old age, and Ruth King was persuaded by her sisters to take over the physical care of them.
